FEARNet:
“Indie label Shinto Records is a fairly new arrival to the world of dark-themed music, but with a strong web presence and an ever-expanding roster of artists, the outfit stands poised to slug it out with the more established players.....With their open-minded, even fearless approach to the domain of dark sounds, it sounds like Shinto’s got their shit together, and I’m digging into their catalog for more…if you’re not afraid to have your whole idea of music shaken up a bit, I’d say you should check them out for yourself.”

Grave Concerns:
"The Sin-Tech Compilation is a devastating mix of Experimental, Electro, EBM, Goth, Industrial, and more. The comp features such acts as Angels On Acid, C/A/T, XHM, The Oedipus Complex, Phantoms Of The SS, and tons of other great artists. The opening track is called "The Vile (Limbo Mix 1)" by Angels On Acid, featuring some interesting samples, a glitchy beat, and wicked synth. C/A/T provides a dark rhythmic industrial track called "Shoot To Kill" with liquefied vocals/samples and a techno edge to keep peoples feet moving."

Overthrow Music:
"The transitions from heavy industrial moving through danceable darkwave synthpop into more obscure and ethereal tracks worked smoothly through a mix that was obviously well planed, it kept me intrigued with no sudden changes, just a colorful and inspiring collection of songs, and every track exclusive to this release. Reflections Of Darkness
"Young label Shinto Records founded at the beginning of 2008 offers with the ‘Sin-Tech’ compilation a bunch of exclusive tracks from artists of their roster as well as different contributions from other artists covering a broad spectrum of electronic music."
"The range of this compilation covers experimental stuff just as hard-hitting blasts and emotive, very melodic tunes and therefore leaves nothing to be desired for fans of excellently crafted electronic music."
