Shinto Records offers distribution to unsigned and independent artists who have pressed CDs. Unlike other labels we also promote your work to radio stations (online and physical), reviewers and work on getting you interviews. Each artist has their own page on Shinto Records with a bio, artist photo, and audio samples. We will also include your work in various specials and sales when we have them. Please note, we do not do promotions for bands who only use digital distribution, if you would like some information on resources let us know.
Below is information on how you can be part of the Shinto Records Family
#1: Listen to some of the artists we work with, make sure you fit, please NO metal, industrial metal or punk. If in doubt listen to the artists samples on this site.
#2: Have a manufactured CD ready to sell. NO homeburned CDs please. If you send us homeburned CDs or CDs with a sticker label we cannot sell them. If you send homeburned CDs we will hold them and contact you about the shipping price to return them.
#3: Download, print out and send your invoice with your package. The invoice can be downloaded HERE
#4: Email us at oni@sin-tech.org to let us know your CDs are on the way, and include the information requested on the invoice.
#5: Send your package to the address on the invoice, once we receive your package we will launch your page, have a link to your page on the Shinto Records homepage and notify you.
#6: We pay after every 5th CD sale, when we run low we will notify you and ask for more.
#7: We encourage artists to use one of the banners below, it is not mandatory, but it does help
