The Hiroshima Project initially formed in 1999 during several recording sessions
with various members of industrial bands in New York City. The Hiroshima Project’s
first incarnation featured various guest vocalists and musician, but over the course
of several months tension between members caused the first line up to be cut in
half. After leaving New York The Hiroshima Project stopped recording music for
several years until 2004.
Once the Hiroshima Project emerged once more it was stripped down to a solo
project, free to explore various uncharted territories he dived deeper into
disorienting sounds and compositions as well as harsh heavily layered droning
industrial songs.
In 2004 The Hiroshima Project recorded over 40 songs for 3 albums and 1 EP which are no longer available
The Hiroshima Project is currently regrouping for a new assault with a new sound. The album "Chemical Injection - Sounds Of The Opium Den" will be available in fall of 2008 on Shinto Records.
